Our Story Video is a creative storytelling service operated by Dead Set on Life LLC. By using this website or purchasing a service, you agree to the following terms.

The Service
Our Story Video provides a guided video interview experience and professional video editing services. Clients record video responses to prompts and may submit photos or personal videos. These materials are edited into a single legacy video.
This is a creative service, and results may vary based on the content provided.
What the Service Is Not
Our Story Video does not provide therapy, counseling, medical care, legal advice, or psychological treatment. Participation is voluntary, and individuals may stop, pause, or skip questions at any time.
Eligibility
By using this service, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old, or

You have permission from the individual being recorded if you are commissioning the service for someone else
Purchases and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is required in full at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed securely through third-party providers such as Stripe. Dead Set on Life LLC does not store or have access to full payment card details.
Recording and Submitted Materials
Clients are responsible for:

Recording their interview responses

Uploading any photos or personal videos they wish to share
All submitted materials must be owned by the client or submitted with permission. You agree not to upload content that infringes on the rights of others.
While you may upload multiple materials, not all submitted content will necessarily be included in the final video. Editorial decisions are made to serve clarity, pacing, and the story as a whole.
Editing and Creative Discretion
Editing style, structure, pacing, and content inclusion are part of the creative process.
By purchasing the service, you acknowledge that:

Final video length may vary within the stated range

The finished film reflects editorial judgment

Minor differences in tone or emphasis are part of creative work
Music and Copyright
Due to copyright restrictions, popular or commercially released music cannot be included in the final video.
Royalty-free music may be used selectively where it supports the edit. Meaningful songs may be discussed during the interview even if the music itself cannot be included.
Delivery
Final legacy videos are delivered digitally. You are responsible for downloading and safely storing your copy after delivery.
Dead Set on Life LLC is not responsible for loss of files after delivery.
Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds are available before recording begins.
Once recording has started or materials have been submitted, refunds are not available, as time and creative resources have been committed.
If you need to pause or delay the project, please contact us and we will make reasonable accommodations where possible.
Ownership and Usage Rights
You retain ownership of your final legacy video for personal, non-commercial use.
Dead Set on Life LLC retains the right to display excerpts only with your explicit written permission. Your video will never be used for marketing without consent.
Privacy
Your privacy is important. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how information and materials are handled.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dead Set on Life LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service.
This includes emotional responses that may arise during reflective storytelling.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
