I'm William Zitser, a film editor with more than twenty years of experience shaping stories for broadcast and documentary film.
Over the course of that work, I've spent thousands of hours listening to people talk about their lives. What becomes clear very quickly is that the moments families remember most are often the ones that were never formally recorded.
